What is CHIPAXE:
CHIPAXE is a development system that helps everyone from beginner to experienced professional develop microcontroller based products. CHIPAXE can be used for educational classes, home schooling, college projects and professional prototype development. The CHIPAXE system is based on the Microchip Technology PIC microcontrollers.

The CHIPAXE system doesn't require you to purchase high priced customized microcontrollers. CHIPAXE uses off the shelf low cost PIC micros. CHIPAXE doesn't lock you into one language either. CHIPAXE supports the BASIC language, C language and can even be used with Assembly language.

Getting Started:
The CHIPAXE Starter Kit is our low cost entry system. It comes with the powerful PICBASIC PRO compiler sample version, PICkit 2 compatible mini-programmer and 8-pin development board that includes a PIC12F683 8-pin microcontroller. You can have your first project running in less than an hour. We also include a tutorial booklet written by published author and Microchip PIC expert Chuck Hellebuyck.
